About the Zuni Mountain Chapter

The Zuni Mountain Chapter was organized in 2016.
We work in the Cibola National Forest, Mount Taylor Ranger district,
and surrounding areas. We have members from Gallup, Grants, Ramah,
and Thoreau.
During our tenure with the Back Country Horsemen of New Mexico, we
have participated in trail projects for the US Forest Service in several
areas of west central New Mexico, including Bluewater, Ojo Redondo,
Milk Ranch, Quartz Hill, and Lime Kiln. We also ride on the Continental Divide Trail, the McGaffey-Hilso area, Bluewater Junction, and the Gallup Northside trails.
We welcome new members and riders from other New Mexico BCH chapters, to whom we will be proud to show off our spectacular terrain.
