Membership in the Gila Chapter
The Gila Chapter of the Back Country Horsemen of New Mexico welcomes anyone in southwestern New Mexico who wants to support the continued use of saddle and pack stock on federal lands. The larger our membership, the better we can influence legislation that keeps our public lands “horse friendly.” Membership dues are paid annually at the beginning of the year, and are $30 for an individual membership, and $40 for a family membership.
To join the Gila Chapter, please download and print the membership form. Mail it to Gila Chapter, Back Country Horsemen of America, P.O. Box 533, Silver City, NM 88062--or even better, attend one of our membership meetings and bring it with you.
We meet (usually) on the second Wednesday of every month, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in Western NM University's Watts Hall in Silver City. Sometimes meeting dates and times change, so it's a good idea to email ahead to confirm.
